ISLAMABAD: Pakistan has made it clear to India that it’s desire for peace should not be considered as weakness, and that the ball is now in Indian court for the solution of all outstanding issues between the two countries.
Briefing the media in Islamabad Thursday, the spokesman of Foreign Office said the solution of the Kashmir issue according to the UN resolution could improve ties between Pakistan and India. 0
The spokesman said that Sharm El-Sheikh meeting between the two premiers of Pakistan and India was an important development, however, New Delhi failed to move forward with the dialogue process. 0
“The recent statement of Indian Army Chief is beyond my comprehension, he said, adding that Pakistan is fully aware of its security.”0
“We have some differences with the United States on the issue of drone strikes, but these issues will be sorted out through talks,” he added.
To a question about Indian interference in Balochistan and Waziristan, the spokesman said that the evidence would be shared at an appropriate time and at an appropriate forum. 0
